School Principal – Mrs. Rachel Watts

Mrs. Rachel Watts has over 34 years of experience in education.  She was a teacher in Escambia County School District for ten years.  She then served as an assistant principal for eight years and principal for 16 years. 

Mrs. Watts earned a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Florida State University.  She continued her education at University of West Florida where she earned a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction/Reading Education, Educational Leadership certification, and a specialist degree in Educational Leadership.  

Mrs. Watts is a resident on the island and her family has a long history on Pensacola Beach.  Her grandparents owned one of the first houses on the island, and her parents have owned a house on Pensacola Beach for more than fifty years. 

Mrs. Watts leads with integrity, honesty, and love.  She is honored to serve as the principal at Pensacola Beach Charter School.  

Office Manager – Ms. Jennifer Magee

Ms. Magee is originally from San Jose, California.  An Air Force veteran, Ms. Magee was stationed at Eglin AFB during the 1980s and always knew she wanted to return to the Gulf Coast.  After 20 years as a military spouse and living everywhere from Hawaii to North Carolina, her dream of living and working on the beach became a reality.
